The Doctoral College of the Université Grenoble Alpes also offers four training programs (« labels ») targeting four well-identified employment sectors:
- CPOI Label: Public Institutions and International Organisations (in French only)
- ICAE Label: Innovation, Consulting, Activity and Corporate Creation
- REI Label: Research, Business and Innovation
- RES Label: Research and Higher Education (in French only)
The training plan and experiments vary based on each label, collectively amounting to over 80 hours of comprehensive instruction. PhD students enrolled in specific labels are required to undergo an additional 40 hours of specialized scientific training.
Particularly noteworthy is the RES Label, which proves exceptionally beneficial for those aspiring to pursue a career in university-level teaching. This program equips participants with practical tools that can be directly applied in the tutorials they supervise, enhancing their teaching capabilities.
