Non-permanent representatives (Néel)

This page is specific to the Néel institute

About 400 people are working daily in Institut Néel and 150 of them are PhD students or post-docs. We are regularly called to elect representatives to sit on the various bodies of the laboratory or university. This page lists the official elected non-permanent staff and those involved in the life of the laboratory.

Usually the permanent representatives are elected for a 4 to 5 years period, but for the NP representatives it’s more flexible and they are usually replaced after two years.

Department council (CSTD)

(Conseil Scientifique et Technique de Département)

CSTDs of each department takes place each month. Notes of meetings are available on the institute intranet. Current non-permanent representatives for each department are :

  • MCBT : Félix Morineau
  • PLUM : Coline Theron
  • QUEST : Ali Badreldin Mostafa

Feel free to contact them for any question or concern about your department.

Laboratory council

This council meets at least five times a year (~every two month) for discussions about various topics. Notes of meetings are downloadable on the institute intranet. Theoretically, only the NP representative is participating, but the deputy member (suppléant) can also participate to the concils (but they will only have one vote together).

Non-permanent representatives :

  • Jean-Baptiste de Vaulx (PhD at MCBT)
  • no deputy member yet (suppléant)

Feel free to contact them for any question or concern.
